AWARD OF THE GRANT
The team was awarded an ESA grant for development, qualification and in-orbit demonstration/validation of ARGO 2.0 for Constellations.
Legacy product
A legacy development reference within the ARGO technology path.
The star tracker ARGO 2.0 intends to be a smart redesign of the ARGO 1.0 architecture, targeting a further reduction of mass and power consumption while keeping performances as close as possible to the current architecture.
It also targets seamless integration with platform control, assuring high stability and maneuverability for microsat platforms. A drastic SWaP reduction makes the solution suitable for future large constellations.

Heritage
The team was awarded an ESA grant for development, qualification and in-orbit demonstration/validation of ARGO 2.0 for Constellations.
EICAS worked with TSD Space on the ARGO 2.0 design during the first project phase.
Engineering models supported software, firmware and system functional verification after the Critical Design Review.
Radiation, vibration and pyroshock tests were successfully executed, with thermal vacuum and EMC activities planned to complete the on-ground qualification campaign.
